On November 3, 2026, We The People get to choose who is going to represent us. Another way of saying this is, we will be choosing who is going to be in office to make sure our best interests are being looked after. Let’s look at some of our choices. I am not going to cover every race for 2 reasons. 1. You have to do some of your own digging, 2. Most of it is snooze-worthy and would make this article way too long.
For Governor and Lieutenant Governor:
Republican Candidates are Vivek Ramaswamy for Governor and Robert A. McColley for Lt. Governor. Vivek is a Businessman with political ambitions. At one time he was associated with DOGE in the Trump Administration, however it seems there was a falling out. Robert is the President of the Ohio Senate. He also was a State Representative in the Ohio House. Both Vivek and Robert are endorsed by President DJT.
Democrat Candidates are Amy Acton for Governor and David Pepper for Lt. Governor. Amy is a medical doctor and led Ohio’s health department during the COVID Pandemic. It should be noted she shut down the entire State of Ohio over only FIVE CASES of Covid. At that time there were no deaths, just confirmed cases and she recommened to Gov. DeWine to close down the state. David was a Hamilton County Commissioner, former Cincinnati City Counselman, a lawyer, adjunct professor and a writer. AI depicts him as a man for the people; however, it should be noted he was a big supporter of Hillary Clinton.
At this time, I am not going to talk about the Libertarian candidate. There is just not enough space in this article for that person who is not going to win anyway.
Neither candidate for Govender is a good choice. Both have been rammed down our throats by the political establishment. However, out of the two, Amy Acton’s actions during Covid were tyrannical and indefensible as demonstrated by her resignation as Ohio’s Health Director when she had to defend her actions. A court ruled that her actions were, “Arbritary, unreasonable and oppressive.

For Justice of the Supreme Court:
Marilyn Zayas Democrat vs. Daniel R. Hawkins Republican.
After examining their records, it is obvious Daniel Hawkins is the more conservative of the two. Marilyn Zayas, is more than likely to legislate from the bench and has WOKE leanings.
For Justice of the Supreme Court:
Jennifer L. Brunner Democrat vs Colleen O’Donnell Republican.
After examining Jennifer Brunner’s record and Policy Issues Summery, both demonstrate she will legislate from the bench. Here is a quote from her Policy Issues Summery. “She has argued that a judge's job is to serve as part of 'the conscience of the community'." During the campaign, she has been openly critical of “originalism” as a "method for judicial practice.”
Colleen O’Donnell will not legislate from the bench. Here is a quote from her Policy Issues Summery. “Campaign materials describe O’Donnell’s judicial philosophy as 'originalist' stating that she gives laws the meaning they had at the time they were written and explicitly rejects the idea that the state or federal constitution is a living document.” In addition, Colleen has vastly more experience as a judge than her opponent.
A quick note about the election for the House of Representatives and United States Senate. It is clear the Democrat Party has been hijacked by the far left. A vote for Sherrod Brown or Jen Mazzuckelli is a vote for WOKE Socialism. Both will dance to whatever tune the radical left wants to play. Remember this when you go to the poles, Democrats in office always move as one. David Taylor and Jon Husted will work with President Trump and keep America Great.
What about the race for the Ohio House and Clermont County Commissioner? Probably stick with the devil you know rather than the one you don’t. Jean Schmidt and Clair Corcoran are more for their special interests and themselves than anything else, but they are light years better than their opponents.
